meet the Puteens - The Economist (2018)

In the month leading up the presidential election in Russia Davide Monteleone and Noah Sneider (Moscow’s Bureu Chief for The Economist) teamed up to interview dozens of 18-year-olds across Russia. “They are the first generation in Russia - call them the Puteens - that has no memory of life before Mr. Putin. Some of 28m children have been born in Russia since he took power. Their living conditions differ widely. Their view on politics, history, religion, rights and national identity range across a broad spectrum. But certain trends do emerge”

The Economist, March 17th 2018.
